Lowering your price as a consultant is a great way to attract a bunch of people you don't want to work with. Don't lower your price. There are lots of people who will step over a dollar to pick up a nickel. I know it's frustrating, but I promise you, the people who come to you and are trying to get you to lower your price so that they can work with you, already have a limited mindset. They do. And it's most likely because they're stuck in whatever place they're stuck in because they can't see the forest for the trees. Right? So they'll go and spend 120 grand on a marketing manager who may be they'll get value out of versus paying you 120 grand for marketing consulting that will move their business directionally in ways that they can't even imagine. Because what's the value if you run a $5 million business of making a 10% better decision? That's $500,000 bucks. So, you know, your value is not determined by other people. Set your value and then stick with it. And you will attract the people who you're supposed to attract. And the people who are transactional, who are just trying to get a quick fix or think that they need to get a certain amount of ROI in the exact moment, they don't have the long-term vision for scalability in their business that's going to be required to get where they want to go. So don't lower your price.
