Hi, it's Juliana! This feels like betrayal to them. What do I mean? They want to be your sun. They want everything about you to revolve around them. Your time. Your attention. Your hobbies. Your curiosity. Your celebrations. All of it. So when you have a positive emotional experience that doesn't involve them... They feel like you're giving something that belongs to them to someone or something you're not supposed to. Are they actually sitting there thinking: "They're betraying me?" I don't think so. I see it more as an instinct like breathing or blinking. They see you doing something that doesn't involve them. And something in their gut tells them it's wrong. So they try to put a stop to it. If you need someone to talk to about all of this, you can always send me a DM or schedule a session with me. My team and I help people heal from narcissistic abuse, and many of us have experienced it ourselves, so we're here if you need us. To your healing, Juliana ❤️🩹
