Wanna start investing but just don't know where to get started? This video is for you. I'm a teacher on a 36,000 pound salary. I'm on track to retire a millionaire by 53. All because of investing. And I used to think that you needed thousands of pounds or a high paying job to start investing. But that's not true. Because I'm a teacher. Yesterday I told you what investing is. And today I found out that only 6% of people do it because no one's taught us how to get started. I'm going to be giving you a step-by-step breakdown on how to start. Step 1 - Pick a platform to use. You wanna decide who you want to invest with. So basically which app or website you're going to use. There are so many different ones, but the biggest and safest in the UK are Trading 212 and Vanguard. Personally, I use Vanguard simply because they have a 24 hour call centre. Step 2 - Open the website. You are going to open the website. The real one will look like this. On the website you should see a button that says open account. You're gonna click on it. It will take you to a page with all the account options. You're gonna find one that says Stocks and Shares ISA. This is super important because these accounts allow you to invest up to 20,000 pounds a year tax free, unlike some of the other ones. Next, you're gonna fill out your details. Your username, password, confirm password, email address, confirm email, mobile. And once your account is set up, we are ready to start investing.
