Why it worked

The video uses a relatable "POV" format and a common struggle (not touching one's face) to create engaging content. The time-lapse element and the visual progression of the skincare application and the passing hours keep the viewer invested.

Summary

The creator applies skincare products to her face in small dots, then puts on headphones and works at her laptop for several hours, showing the progression of time. She eventually touches her face to blend in the product.
