the ONLY framework you need to build muscle + lose fat from a qualified coach & trainer of 12 years here I wanted to lose some weight and tone up a little but when I lost weight, I'd lose all my shape too.. so I changed my approach to a recomp structure instead of just a calorie deficit 1. Training style • Lifting weights • 4-5 sessions a week (started with 3) • Hourglass muscle focused • Split on the next page → 2. Training split my fave one: • Lower body 1 • Upper (push + core) • Upper (pull) • Lower body 2 • Mobility work / extra glutes (full program in my prof) 3. Cardio & steps • 8-10k steps per day • Max 2-3 steady state cardio sessions a week • Only did cardio AFTER lifts • Did NOT rely on HIIT cardio for fat loss. I used steps and incline treadmill mainly 4. Nutrition • A lot whole foods (instead of protein bars and processed snacks) • Same foods daily more or less (repetition helps you stay consistent and is easier on your digestive system) • 30-40g protein per meal • Carbs pre and post workout. I never lift weights fasted *yes I still have off plan meals but I stick to similar staple foods daily to keep me on track & hit my macros & I stopped avoiding upper body training because a balanced program helps you build a balanced shape train with me on Team Ascend fully coached workouts every week nutrition guidance + tracker community of women supporting you first week is on me
