He Bought a "Brand-New" iPhone... But the Box Was Empty

A customer came into with one of the strangest iPhones I've ever worked on. He bought it from a who claimed it was completely brand new and still had the original box. The price was suspiciously low, but the seller gave him an explanation. He supposedly needed money immediately and wanted the phone gone that same day. The customer met him, checked that the iPhone turned on, paid him and left. But when he got home, he noticed something weird. The box had basically nothing inside it. No accessories, no paperwork, nothing. Later, the screen started having problems. It to me. The phone itself looked but once I started working on the display, I realized this wasn't normal screen replacement. Instead of throwing away, I decided to try saving it. I removed the screen, separated the damaged glass from the actual display using specialized equipment. I cleaned everything carefully and prepared it for of glass. The crazy part is that the original display underneath was still perfectly usable. After separating everything, glass onto the original panel. Removed the remaining bubbles, cleaned it and started rebuilding the phone. The customer thought he had been sold a completely destroyed iPhone, but the expensive part of his display never actually needed replacing. Then he told me how much he paid for the phone: $300. Now he wants to sell it for $900 without mentioning that the screen has been refurbished because, according to him, the display is still original.
