Do you want more leads or more customers? I'm guessing you said customers. So why are you still optimizing all of your campaigns around the lead event? I'm guessing it's because you think Facebook on who your customers are on who your customers are find more of them. I'm gonna show you so you can start seeing how many customers your ads are actually getting, and start optimizing new campaigns around getting customers instead of just leads. Step one is simple. Facebook will never know who your customers are if you don't start telling them who your leads are. and you're not doing that. Right now you probably but you're probably doing it with a thank you page or some sort of basic Google Tag Manager event. Problem with both of those things all they're telling Facebook is what happened on your website, So if this was First Name* You Last Name* Should Email* sendthisdata@gmail.com Phone* 7027545467 All fields marked with an asterisk * are required with my first name, and I filled it out and gave and all you do is tell Facebook that someone filled out the form. when I become a customer, facebook's not gonna know who tf I am gave them my information gave them my information one of your leads. So that is step one. an empty conversion event to meta when somebody becomes a lead and start sending all the info they gave you Cuz once Facebook knows who your leads are, it's much easier to do which is importing your customer data into Facebook from your CRM. This is where it gets tricky. look up your CRM and see if it has a Facebook integration and if it has one, use it. If it doesn't, you have two options. One, use Zapier some sort of automation tool to import your customers into Facebook every time you get a new one. Or worst case scenario, literally upload a CSV of your customer lists into Facebook once a week. Now when Facebook sees that customer data, because you're doing giving them lead data, it's gonna start to recognize those customers who used to be leads. And now it's gonna be able to tie customers back to the original ad you ran That's how you're gonna which of your campaigns actually create customers and that is gonna start to build up a repository of customer data so that you can start running campaigns of getting purchases, not just leads. So again, if you want your Facebook ads to get more customers, start telling Facebook who your customers actually are in order for Facebook who your customers are, you need to tell them who your leads are. So fix your tracking, stop using thank you pages, and watch your ads get when Facebook actually knows who's converting on your website.
