I'm going to show you how to use the notebooks feature in Microsoft Copilot. Notebooks essentially allow us to have a conversation with multiple documents. This is what the top left hand side of our screen looks like when we open up Copilot. We'll click on these white dots up here and then click on Notebooks. It then takes us here where we can add the files that we want the notebook to have access to. Now let me give you a quick scenario before we build this notebook. So let's say that we're a sales rep and our company is down to the final two in a massive deal. And we're going head to head against one of our biggest competitors. On paper, we're losing. Our competitor came in cheaper. But the real story is buried across these three documents. The customer requirements, the competitor's proposal, as well as our pricing sheet. We've selected the files and named it, it's time to create the notebook. And when we open it up, we'll see the three files on the left hand side. And on the far right side we see Microsoft Copilot pop up. This is where we can interact with the documents and ask questions. The notebook takes a few seconds to analyze the documents and then gives us a summary, as well as key insights into the three documents. So we'll go into the text box over on the right hand side and ask Copilot where we're exposed against our competitor's bid as well as where we win. After a few seconds, Copilot finishes the job for us. And we get an in-depth breakdown of where we're exposed and what our competitors' advantages. And the first one is price. Which gives them a huge headline advantage to the prospect. It then talks about their commitment to a 45-day implementation, assuring the prospect that it will be live before peak season. And lastly, pre-built integration with zero custom development needed. So that's the bad news. Let's look at the good news. We're finding out that our competitor has a hidden cost structure. Copilot detected that their 24/7 support is not included. So that'd be a $60,000 add-on to the price that they're proposing. The report finishes with a bottom line. This is how our offer loses. This is how our offer wins. Notebooks within Copilot are an elite feature that basically allows you to have a conversation with multiple documents. We can now work smarter, not harder.
