Stop saying these things to unemployed people. The first one is "Have you tried?" Have you tried going to the company website? Have you tried this? Have you tried that? If your sentence starts with "Have you tried?" followed by the most obvious thing, and something they've definitely tried, just don't say it. Number four, but the unemployment rate is so low. Who is that helping? What are you proving? Stop it. Number three, "Just network." Networking advice. Just telling someone just network when they don't really have one doesn't do them any good. Most people's networks are tapped, not really working. Just network provides somebody one. And you should share this list so that people know to stop saying these stupid things to you. Number two, "Start a biz." Just business. Start it. You'll make lots of money. If you just start a business, you won't need a job anymore. Starting a lot of business works for a lot of people. Telling someone who's unemployed and struggling with money to just start a business isn't helpful at all. And finally, the number one thing to just shut your mouth and stop saying is just positive.
