This skillet chocolate chip cookie is so easy to make and the best part, I don’t have to dirty a ton of dishes to make it! 1 cup salted butter 1 cup light brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup white granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 cups AP flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Melt butter in a 10” cast iron skillet. Add sugars and whisk until mixture gets glossy. Add eggs and vanilla extract whisk your eggs and vanilla in. Once those eggs are fully combined, you're going to add two cups of unbleached all-purpose flour, teaspoon of baking soda, and a teaspoon of salt. I just take my wooden spoon here and just kind of mix the top of the flour to incorporate that baking soda and salt a little bit. Then I'm going to mix our dry ingredients in. Now we're going to fold in a cup and a half of semisweet chocolate chips. Move this into an even layer. Now my oven is preheated to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. This is going to bake for about 30 minutes, just until the edges are slightly golden brown. I'll be back when it's done. It took all of about 40 minutes to start to finish.
