Unfortunately, my client Aubrey has had 2 appointments with me

Unfortunately, my client Aubrey has had 2 appointments with me that have been less than ideal. The first time she came it my hot water wouldn't work. and then this time, the entire building's power went out. And of course, the power went out right after I styled her hair. While her hair was soaking wet, the lights started flickering, and then my hair dryer started clicking, too, so I unplugged them because I remember hearing so many stories of hair dryers exploding. so I panicked and unplugged them. But my room never fully lost power like the other rooms. I work in a plaza, and they're being construction on the building next door. I think it's gonna be a Dollar Tree or something. So excited to have that right next door, but very inconvenient when they blew our power out. Anyways, Aubrey's a trooper. She's, like, the best. I just feel so bad because last time, I had to wash her hair in my friend's room since my hot water broke, and this time, I had to diffuse her hair in our break room because it was the only room where the lights and the outlets were working. But then they stopped working, and her hair was, like, almost dry, but it was still damp, especially at the roots. I was diffusing her hair as fast as humanly possible, too. I usually really take my time with diffusing. and I do a lot of hover drying. but today I just went right in and I tried to get it dry as fast as possible, not worrying about anything else. I feel like whenever stuff like this happens, it always falls in the same people's appointments. I don't know if that happens to anyone else. but I'm just praying that Aubrey's next appointment in October goes smoothly. Lights started flickering Anyways, Aubrey wanted to lose a few inches, and I don't know if you remember the last time she was here, her and her mom thought her hair was waterproof, but it ended up just being that her hair had so much build up on it that the water couldn't penetrate. But this time, her hair wet down so easily. They've been following their home care routine perfectly, and we're already seeing so much progress. Here's how it came out. She loved it so much, and I'm just so grateful they were understanding throughout today's chaos.
